ADMISSION REQUIREMENT
Degree Programs
5 passes at GCE O'level or WASCE with 6 or better including English Language. Candidate must note that this is the standard requirement for entry to any university program and this will be assesed by the University of South Africa admissions department.
Only copies of results issued by the West African Examination Council are accepted, testimonials and copies issued by the schools will not be acepted.
Persons 45 years and above are accepted into the degree program even if they have never passed the WASSCE or GCE O'level. This is called the Mature Student entrance route MSER
Persons who have not passed the above mentioned number of subjects at WASSCE OR GCE O'level but have work for a considerable number of years and have held supervisory or management positions can apply for entry to the degree program related to his/her job through the 'RECOGNITION for PRIOR LEARNING' (RPL) route. Acceptance/admission in this area will be subject to the decision of the RPL Assessment committee,
Diploma Programs
3 Passes at GCE O'level or WASSCE with 6/D or better including English Language.
Any certificate awarded by an accredited tertiary Institution is also accepted for entry to the diploma programs ofered at LICCSAL.
Candidates who are twenty five years and above and are currently in employment can apply for a diploma course.
Candidates who do not meet these requirements can also apply for admission through the Access route. They will attend a full year class afterwhich they will be assessed and if successful promoted to pursue the diploma program
Exemption
Students can be exempted from certain subjects or modules if they are able to go through the procedure.For more information contact the Director of Studies
